SEARSPORT — Clear out your stash ahead of winter; donate unused materials and extra tools to support Carver Memorial Library’s first-ever Craft Stash Sale on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Searsport Community Building, 42 Prospect St., in Searsport.
The sale focuses on fabric and yarn, along with notions and tools for quilting, knitting, sewing, and crocheting.
“Due to limited space, we can’t take books, magazines, patterns, or other craft items,” said CML, in a news release. “To give us time to sort, please drop off donations at the library between now and Saturday, October 8.” Funds raised will support library programs such as the DIY and Take and Make Kits.
“The library is grateful to all our volunteers, donors, and shoppers for making this event possible,” said CML, in a news release.
